Position Overview:

The Director of Software Engineering is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the strategy, development, and execution of software solutions across the organization. Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership:

   2. Drive long-term technical planning and innovation to ensure competitive and cutting-edge solutions.
2. Team Leadership and Development:
   1. Lead and mentor managers and senior engineers across application development, QA, infrastructure, and tools.
   2. Build and scale teams to meet the demands of ongoing projects, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
3. Project and Delivery Management:
   1. Oversee the delivery of complex, high-impact software projects, ensuring on-time and high-quality execution.
   2. Set priorities and allocate resources effectively to meet business needs and deadlines.
4. Operational Excellence:
   1. Establish and enforce engineering best practices, processes, and standards to drive quality and efficiency.
   2. Proactively address technical debt, scaling challenges, and performance bottlenecks.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
   1. Partner with product, design, and business stakeholders to deliver user-centric solutions.
   2. Facilitate clear communication across teams and leadership to ensure alignment and transparency.
6. Innovation and Problem-Solving:
   1. Introduce new technologies and methodologies to improve development processes and product quality.
   2. Lead efforts to innovate and optimize existing platforms to support growth and scalability.

• Extensive experience in software engineering leadership roles, including managing multi-disciplinary teams across mobile, backend, and infrastructure.
• Strong expertise in delivering high-quality, scalable software solutions with a focus on customer impact.

• Strategic thinker with exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
