JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Department of Entomology in the College Agricultural Sciences at Penn State is hiring an Administrative Assistant. The Administrative Assistant will serve the USAID Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Current and Emerging Threats to Crops and PlantVillage, which the Innovation Lab was founded on. This position is responsible for working directly with the Administrative Support Assistant, Lab Manager, Director of Operations, Associate Director and Director to ensure the timely processing of invoices and awards to vendors, collaborators and sub awardees. This requires receiving invoices, entering the data into the financial accounting platform, cross checking the invoices to pictures of receipts and then confirming the invoices are correct and not missing any information. If information is missing, it will be required for this position to follow up with the collaborator to obtain the missing information.
This is a limited term position funded for one year from date of hire with good possibility of refunding.
Education and Experience:
This position requires a High School Diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

The salary range for this position, including all possible grades is:
