Scrum Master

SysLogic, Inc. is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join our organization. The right individual will possess strong leadership skills, be self-motivated and detail oriented. Individuals will support a variety of clients and will need to have the ability to handle multiple projects, exhibit the ability to problem solve, and deliver successful results. They will work with an agile team to ensure the successful delivery of the project/product roadmap that is being directed by the Product Director, Product Owner, or Business Line Owner using Agile methodologies and will be the main point of contact for all Sprint cycles.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Scrum Master, you will:

• Facilitate sprint(s) cycles through the use of project plans and/or JIRA boards to adhere to the "triple constraints": Time (schedule), Resources (people and financial) and Scope.
• Oversee the ongoing review of Sprint(s) status; identifies risks and developments, recommends and implements solutions as appropriate. Ensures alignment to strategic priorities.
• Follow prescribed Agile Product methodology which includes: delivery throughout the end-to-end life cycle, including requirements gathering, risk and issue management, collaboration with architecture and design, testing, training, production readiness and change management.
• Methodically plans, analyzes and schedules multiple interrelated tasks and/or initiatives based upon their strategic value, scope, schedule and resource requirements.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience

• 4-7 years of experience working in Software, Agile/Scrum or Project Management focused areas.
• Work experience with progressive responsibilities, knowledge and exposure to fundamental theories, principles and concepts of Project Management/Agile Methodologies.
• 5-7 years Leading Projects in a Project Management role or as Agile Practitioner; Portfolio and Project Management (PPM) tool and/or Agile Methodology tools including JIRA, KanBan.
• Experience teaching Agile/Scrum best practices while functioning as a hands-on Scrum Master
• Certification as either PSM or CSM, or PMI-Scrum Master highly desired
