Logan Health has an opening for a PRN Behavioral Health Therapist (LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT) to join their team!
*May also consider licensure candidate requiring supervision.
About our facility:
Logan Health Behavioral Health (formerly Pathways Treatment Center), a department of Logan Health Medical Center, is located in Kalispell, Montana. We provide acute inpatient services for Montana clients who have mental health or substance abuse issues. Our 40-bed facility offers clinically effective treatment through the collaborative efforts of a team that includes psychiatrists, licensed therapists, psychiatric nurses and mental health technicians. Each staff member is dedicated to delivering results-oriented treatment in a caring and confidential environment.

What you'll be doing:
This role provides rapid assessment, brief intervention and care collaboration with patients who are identified to have or be at risk for depression and other behavioral health conditions. In partnership with the team provides patient centered care to improve outcomes for patients.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology or related counseling field required.
Current Montana LCSW, LCPC or LMFT licensure required. *Will consider licensure candidate requiring supervision.
Current CPR certification required as applicable to assigned area(s).
Possess knowledge of evidenced based practice and experience in assessment, crisis assessment, brief therapies, and clinical case management preferred.
Ability to analyze, intervene and evaluate a range of psychosocial theory and methods as applicable to assigned area(s).
Possess knowledge of cultural, ethnic, social, historical and spiritual issues relevant to the provision of mental health treatment as applicable to assigned area(s) preferred.
Possess a working knowledge of: Psychiatry, Psychology, Social Work, Education, and/or Marriage and Families.
Experience and/or knowledge of behavioral health disorders and treatment modalities.
Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.
Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.
Job Specific Duties:
Triages referrals from providers and ensures on-going liaison occurs with stakeholders as applicable to assigned area(s).
Performs initial and comprehensive assessments, including diagnostic evaluation, risk assessment, behavioral systems, level of care need, and other information necessary to determine treatment as applicable to assigned area(s).
Performs as part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team, provides consultation, and education services as applicable to assigned area(s).
Coordinates patient transitions into services and discharges from treatment as applicable to assigned area(s). Coordinates care, admissions, and/or referrals with appropriate stakeholders as applicable to assigned area(s).
