We are on a journey of continuous growth – now looking for our next star – a passionate Senior Accounting Manager.

This role will be responsible for oversight of our accounting operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of accounting principles and reconciling complex data, and the ability to manage a team in an exciting, ever-evolving workplace with opportunities to lead change.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Controller with supervising monthly, quarterly, and annual GL close periods.
  • Complete higher level data analytics to support accurate accruals.
  • Review complex reconciliations on balance sheet accounts including but not limited to inventory, accrued expenses, and lease balances recorded under IFRS 16.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in accounting processes and implement changes when feasible.
  • Coordinate and complete annual external audits and other audits as necessary.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing training and performance evaluations while fostering a culture of development and empowerment.
  • Support Controller and the accounting department at large through impromptu reporting and special projects when requested.
  • Use advanced data tools such as Power Query, Power BI, and Oracle OAS to provide reliable data and meaningful analysis to key stakeholders.
  • Report monthly results in AARO consolidation software and reconcile results to the general ledger.
  • Respond to ad hoc requests from Group Accounting.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications A suitable background would be solid experience within the following qualifications and experiences:
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • Experience:  (6-7) years of progressive accounting experience. Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proven Excel Skills and MS Office skills.
  • English language skills:  Able to read, write, speak and comprehend English. Excellent English communication skills. both verbal and written.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, team members, and cross functional stakeholders.
  • Physical Demands: general office environment with occasional time in manufacturing area.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Oracle ERP Experience.
  • Experience in a high volume manufacturing environment.
  • CPA Certification or Eligibility.
