Your Career

The DNS Security product group seeks a Senior Product Manager to own and execute the strategy for the Advanced  DNS Security Service. This individual will be responsible for understanding DNS threat landscape, market trends, and gathering customer requirements at both a market and technical level that would drive the product roadmap.  This role will require collaboration with other product and cross-functional teams that include engineering, product marketing, sales teams to deliver web security solutions to solve customer problems with speed and agility. This individual will also engage with strategic customers to understand their security challenges and the competitive landscape in order to build and execute a product strategy that displaces the competition.

Your Impact

  • Conceptualize and define differentiated features for Advanced DNS Security through a deep understanding of the evolving Threat Landscape, advancements in protocols and customer pain-points across our core and growth markets

  • Collaborate with product leaders to build out business case, author PRDs and collaborate with cross-functional product, engineering and design teams to plan and release features

  • Assist the field and customers understand our value, competitive differentiation, and best practices for implementing our product

  • Communicate product value to both customers and the business in a compelling manner using slides and documents

  • Engage customers and develop relationships via executive briefings, product evangelism, and requirements gathering

  • Be a great team player– an excellent communicator, strong collaborator, someone who solicits feedback from others, is welcoming of better ideas

Qualifications

Your Experience 

  • Direct experience in DNS Security, Secure Web Gateways (SWG), Threat Prevention or similar technology

  • Experience - Proven experience in product management, preferably within the cybersecurity threat environment

  • Analytical Skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of using data to drive decisions

  • Technical Acumen - Deep understanding of threat landscape and network security - Ability to understand complex engineering designs, cloud infrastructure needs, operating system exploits and the processes to build enterprise product (agile)

  • Communication - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Leadership - Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive initiatives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, other engineering/technical degree or equivalent military experience required
