Job Summary

In this role, you will report to the Supervisor, Onsite Services and will work closely with the Avantor’s Lab and Production Services team of over 1,500 on- and off-site expert personnel – and our customers – to perform customized, mission-based lab work and research protocols that help return time back to science.

Location: Rio Rancho, NM

Wage:  $15.25/hr

Shift:  Thursday – Saturday, every other Wednesday, 6 am to 6 pm

What we’re looking for:  

Education: High School diploma or GED is preferred but not required.  

Experience: 1+ years customer service, inventory replenishment, and/or material handling experience required.   

Collaboration Tool: Microsoft Office Suite experience preferred.

·                  Able to lift 50 lbs. required.

·                  Basic computer skills required.

·                  Ability to prioritize tasks and meet goals.

·                  Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

·                  Excellent customer service skills including a professional can-do demeanor.

·                  Attention and high regard for safety and quality.

·                  Must be flexible, forward-thinking, motivated, and can act independently.

·                  Previous experience working in a manufacturing facility preferred but not required.

How you will thrive and create an impact: 

Avantor’s Lab and Production Services team is a crucial part of the Avantor Services group serving over 500 customers in biopharma, pharmaceutical, educational, industrial, and high-tech industries with customizable, flexible solutions and end-to-end laboratory operations support. In this role you will:

·                  Point of use replenishment of the PPE (bunny suits) the Technicians wear in the cleanroom.

·                  Collection and inspection of used garments.

·                  Documentation of usage data at point of use and adding it to tracking log.

·                  Receive inbound shipments from common carriers, including reviewing and approving any invoices and shipping receipts.

·                  Responsible for preparing shipping documentation and staging material for pickup.

·                  Daily inspections of inventory & soil bin checks to avoid overflow.

·                  Ordering new garments as needed or any special sizes.

·                  Point person for any garment issues or concerns.

·                  Other duties as assigned.
