Maintenance Technician HVAC

Key Responsibilities

•  Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems across all departments, including molding and paint lines.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance to reduce equipment downtime and improve system reliability.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues related to HVAC units and associated components (e.g., chillers, air compressors, ventilation systems).
• Monitor and maintain environmental controls in sensitive areas such as paint booths and molding lines.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure HVAC support aligns with manufacturing schedules and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance work.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and company safety guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical/vocational training preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of HVAC maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• EPA Universal Certification (required).
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems in a plastics manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
• Experience with injection and blow molding equipment, ovens, chillers, and cleanroom ventilation is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
