Production Supervisor: Mattress Assembly - 2nd shift

The Production Supervisor directly supervises production hourly employees in manufacturing activities of an assigned production area in such a manner that approved quality products are manufactured and/or delivered on schedule and within specifications and cost requirements. 

 

Pay Range: $58,000-$82,000

Shift: Monday - Thursday 4pm-2am

What You’ll Do (Essential Duties and Responsibilities):

• Manage and oversee a specific department and team within the production process.
• Coordinate the team’s activities to accomplish the established production and safety goals.
• Manage and inspect the team’s output to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Maintain time and production records.
• Estimate production material needs and manage inventory.
• Teach the team company safety policies and enforce all safety regulations with a goal of zero incidents.

• Collaborate with the team and management to identify and implement ways to improve production and safety.
• Help to mediate and resolve conflicts within the team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

What You’ll Need (Qualifications):

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• A bachelor’s degree, associate degree, or certification in a related field is preferred.
• 2 years of supervisor experience is required, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Capable working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other data-entry programs.
