Your Role: Leading the Future of Maternal Nursing

As a Registered Nurse at Galileo, you will be an integral part of an innovative maternal care model, delivering high-quality, patient-focused care for diverse populations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver Comprehensive Maternal Care – Provide in-home and virtual nursing care for perinatal patients.
• Collaborate in a Team-Based Model – Work with providers and care coordinators to ensure seamless, high-quality care for all patients.
• Perform Essential Clinical Assessments & Procedures – Conduct and interpret Non-Stress Tests (NSTs), administer vaccines, perform phlebotomy, and collect routine cultures.
• Educate & Empower Patients – Guide patients in understanding their care plans, improving adherence, and navigating the healthcare system.
• Enhance & Optimize the Care Model – Contribute to ongoing improvements in maternal care delivery, increasing efficiency and impact.

Who You Are: A Skilled, Compassionate Nurse

You are a Registered Nurse (RN) who is clinically strong, patient-focused, and eager to innovate in maternal healthcare. You thrive in a collaborative, modern care environment and are comfortable providing care both digitally and in the home.

Your Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with active licensure in New Mexico (or ability to obtain prior to start).
• 3+ years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 1 year in an acute care setting.
• 1+ years of OB experience in an office or inpatient setting (preferred).
• Proficiency or willingness to learn NST interpretation, phlebotomy, vaccines, and routine culture collection.
• Strong patient education and behavior modification skills.
• Passion for innovative, holistic maternal healthcare.
• Reliable transportation for home visits across Southern New Mexico (Las Cruces, Roswell, & Carlsbad).
• For the safety of our patients and staff, employees in this role must be fully vaccinated with all necessary vaccinations. This includes a completed COVID-19 vaccination.
