Position Description:
The Associate Director – International Tax will report directly to the Director, Tax Operations, located in Rahway, NJ
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
Responsible for preparation and review of US international tax compliance forms and disclosures (Forms 5471, 8858, 8865, 1118, 8992, 8993)
Responsible for US international tax calculations, including but not limited to Subpart F, GILTI, FDII, FTC,
Assist with ASC 740 review,
Assist with country-by-country reporting and filing of Form 8975 and Schedule A
Ensure timely compliance with international requirements including FBAR and Pillar 2 reporting,
Assist with cross-border structuring and planning to support various business initiatives, including analysis and modeling for tax impacts,
Assist with dividend planning opportunities to repatriate cash in a tax-efficient manner and support Treasury for cash management,
Prepare and review responses to the IRS on audits,
Complete special assignments and projects assigned by management,
Monitor relevant international legislative and regulatory changes and their impact on the Company's effective tax rate and reporting,
Implement and manage automated processes and solutions, aiming for process efficiencies.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of relevant international tax compliance experience
Strong knowledge of U.S. international tax rules including GILTI, FDII, Subpart F and FTCs.
Advanced degree (MS in Taxation or CPA)
Proficient understanding of ASC 740 related to international tax matters and its impact on the effective tax rate,
Strong research, analytical, organizational, written, and oral communication skills
Highly organized and initiative-taking with strong intellectual curiosity and willingness to take ownership of complex problems,
Excellent collaborator with good people skills,
Deep working knowledge of Corptax International and demonstrated experience in leveraging technology and automation tools (i.e., Alteryx, Power BI, etc.,) to optimize tax processes.
