Regional Transportation Manager

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Regional Transportation Manager for our Southeast Region.  

 

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
•    Manage common carriers, dedicated carriers, and private fleet for the Region in support of multiple plants, warehouses, branches, and springs
•    Meet or exceed targeted service levels and associated key performance indicators (KPI's)
•    Ensure carrier compliance/adherence to dock and delivery schedules
•    Manage route guide compliance and primary tender acceptance
•    Cross functionally partner with product supply, sales, safety, and HR
•    Lead a load center team based in an off-site location 

Qualifications

Key qualifications include:
•    Bachelor’s degree required (or equivalent experience)
•    5+ years of Transportation Leadership experience
•    SAP Business Management Software experience preferred
•    Strong analytical skills required; experience with Excel, PowerBI, or Tableau preferred
•    Strong communication and negotiation skills required.  
•    Ability to communicate at all levels with internal and external contacts required.
•    Travel requirements 15-25%
