Job Summary:
This Cloud Operations Intern position will work closely with our Cloud Operations team and is responsible for infrastructure Uptime, Cloud Security, Cost savings, and improving the quality of software releases and deployments through automation and tool enhancements.
Job Description:
Responsible for Server installs, configure and support Active Directory, DNS DHCP and GPO
Knowledge with configuring, managing and troubleshooting IIS and other Web applications.
Improve service availability and performance by continuously fine tuning the systems by applying patches/updates, executing and monitoring the maintenance jobs.
Should know how to debug/troubleshoot volume, CPU and memory issues etc.
Proficiency in scripting (Powershell)
Troubleshoot the issues related to the DNS, GPO and AD replication, DHCP, Site and services.
Implements backup and restore management process for Applications & file system.
Must have strong troubleshooting skills and a passion for problem-solving and investigation.
Analytical skills to prioritize relevant points of consideration and determine the best course
(DevOps/Tools)
Hands-on experience deploying and managing infrastructure with Terraform
Experience with Bitbucket, GitHub, Jenkins, Ansible, and deploying applications on Azure/ AWS
Infrastructure and Application monitoring across production & non-production platforms.
Ability to define scalable CI/CD pipelines. (preferred Azure DevOps)
Identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management
Experience with container orchestration platforms Kubernetes, Azure AKS, Amazon ECS
Ability to learn/use a wide variety of open-source technologies and SaaS tool
Managing logs and monitoring with any analytics tools.
Basic understanding of any ticketing system with ITIL process.
Azure Cloud
Azure subscription management & Implementing Azure multi-factor authentication
Knowledge of Azure Blob storage, Managing Azure VNET & Monitoring resources and workloads in azure.
Implement solutions that use virtual machines (VM)
Implement batch jobs by using Azure Batch Services
Good knowledge of Azure virtual machines (Deploy, Configure and Backup).
Experience in Software and Patch management, Monitor system performance, VPN management.
Experience with Azure is must, Web hosting, DNS Management, Virtual Hosting.
Good Knowledge in Azure automation and Azure Site Recovery.
Basic knowledge in Azure security service offering and implementing best practices.
Recommended Skills & Experience
Candidates currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related field
Experience with Azure, Windows Server Domain, Web hosting, DNS Management
Ability to think critically and work independently or collaborate with a team
