We are seeking a Full Time Janitor to support carrying out our mission to deliver quality care to our residents!

Shift available: Thursday-Monday, 12pm-8:30pm

The primary purpose of this position is to maintain the facility in a clean, safe and efficient manner in accordance with current federal, state and local standards. Perform daily maintenance/janitorial services as directed by Environmental Director, Nursing Services and Administrator. On the job training will be provided for miscellaneous maintenance duties.

• Perform specific tasks in accordance with daily work assignments.
• Remove dirt, dust, grease, film, etc., from surfaces using proper cleaning/disinfecting solutions.
• Discard waste/trash into proper containers and reline with plastic liner.
• Ensure that work/assignment areas are clean and that equipment, tools, supplies, etc., are properly stored at all times, as well as before leaving such areas for breaks, mealtimes, and end of the workday.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicant must possess the ability to deal with other personnel, residents, family members, and visitors in a pleasant and professional manner.
• Previous janitorial experience preferred.
