Position Summary: Senior Employee Relations Advisor (hybrid)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develops resolutions to employee relations and labor issues by providing advice, research,
direction and guidance to management and employees.
2. Investigates allegations of employee misconduct, conducts internal investigations and prepares
investigative reports.
3. Guides managers on performance management and corrective action process.
4. Facilitates conflict resolution between employees through coaching and referrals to appropriate
resources
5. Provides guidance on ADA accommodations interactive process to employees and managers;
works collaboratively with the Office of Health Services on ADA cases.
6. Reviews employee grievance cases and recommends findings.
7. Provides interpretation to supervisors and employees in the interpretation and application of the
Hospital's personnel policies.
8. Ensures personnel policies are equitable and effective; reviews current policies and procedures
and recommends changes, as necessary.
9. Maintains accurate record-keeping metrics and documentation related to employee cases.
10. Collaborates with Office of General Counsel in preparing for the Hospital's defense in regards to
discrimination complaints or lawsuits brought by employees.
11. Coordinates and prepares presentation of cases for arbitration and administrative hearings, such
as unemployment.
12. Trains supervisors and managers in support of Hospital leadership development programs on
managing employee relations issues.
13. Provides direction and supports leave administration issues, as needed.
14. Maintains collaborative team relationships with other HR teams and colleagues in order to
effectively contribute to the working groups’ achievement goals.
15. Ensures legal compliance to mitigate risk to the organization through effective guidance.
16. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
17. May participate in Hospital committees when required.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree required
Experience: 8 years’ experience required. Human Resources, Counseling or a closely related
field preferred.

$105102.40-$168157.60 Annual
