Tax Transformation Consultant Senior

Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Must be able to work out of either the Chicago, IL, Tampa, FL, Las Vegas, NV or Indianapolis, IN office.

The Tax Consultant Senior is responsible for ensuring that tax processes and tools are designed and maintained to guarantee tax matters are timely and accurately addressed for the company.

How You Will Make an Impact

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Design and implement tax technology/transformation projects and initiatives spanning all tax areas.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, or analytics initiatives.
• Prepares federal and state income tax returns in accordance with applicable tax laws.
• Prepares tax provisions and assists in the preparation of related tax disclosures for statutory or Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) financial statements.
• Assists in the research and analysis of tax developments and their application to specific business situations.
• Assists or leads in other tax department activities, including projects, research, and tax examinations with a focus on process improvement and innovation.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires BA/BS in accounting and a minimum of 4 years of corporate tax experience, either within industry or public accounting; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:

• Development experience in Microsoft Power Automate, Power Apps, Power Query, Power BI and Alteryx preferred.
• Python, SQL, DAX, and/or PowerFx knowledge preferred.

For candidates working in person or virtually in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $82,320 to $129,360.
