Associate Manager, Business Analyst Marketing Applications

The Associate Manager, Business Analyst Market Applications is responsible for delivering marketing capabilities and services in SC Johnson’s Global Solution Delivery team within BPT (Business Process and Technology). You will be implementing and supporting systems and applications delivered for the Marketing department by following BPT’s Better Work Execution model. You will achieve this by working collaboratively and establishing rapport with the Marketing team by understanding and gathering requirements and turning them into functional specifications while helping deliver the solution. A successful candidate will have a robust combination of technical, business, and interpersonal skills and experience.

This is an onsite role in Racine, WI.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Business Needs Analysis and Requirements Gathering: Understanding and documenting business requirements, determining scope, conducting baseline analysis, compiling findings, and making recommendations to address needs.

• Business Analysis and Testing: Identifying, investigating, and evaluating options for improving business systems, defining requirements, and ensuring the effective use of information technology to meet the needs of the business.

• Data Literacy: Using data to gain insights, solve problems, and inform decisions.

• Facilitation: Enabling groups to work cooperatively and effectively and ensuring the design and management of successful meetings.

• Facilitate the successful implementation of the product or service with input from users. Seek new ways to enhance performance, improve results or processes and/or transform the business.

• Collaborate with other IT functions, such as product champions, product owners, service owners, and 3rd party managed service providers to design, develop, test, deploy, operationalize, and continuously improve IT services.

• Identify and manage the risks, issues, and opportunities associated with IT projects while ensuring compliance with the relevant policies, standards, and regulations.

• Establish and maintain effective relationships with the customers and stakeholders while soliciting and acting on their feedback and suggestions for service improvement.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

• At least 5 years of experience in IT or related business field with experience building marketing-related capabilities and services such as marketing workflow tools and digital asset management.

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or military experience in lieu of education requirement.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the country with no sponsorship.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS

Applicant should demonstrate the following:

• Strong written communication skills

• Strong business analysis skills and breadth of knowledge within the marketing software stack

• Brand Operating Systems (BOS)

• Marketing Brand Applications

• Publishing Content to Brands sites

• Experience being a business analyst; preferably with marketing applications.

• Managing workflows and approvals

• Familiarity with Agile concepts and ceremonies

• Prior experience of being an active member of an agile team on a large project
