About the role

   

The successful candidate will participate in research projects, aid in lab maintenance, and process data. The lab concentration is on antibiotic activity and resistance. A willingness to learn various bench top work and to be exposed to large domestic animals is important for this position.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma and up to 1 year of experience or equivalent combination
  • Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must have competent computer skills (MS Office and Excel)
  • Will be required to take the necessary training courses provided by Cornell for laboratory safety.

Important Details about the Position

  • This is an onsite position located in Ithaca, NY.
  • This is a part time temporary position offering 30hrs/wk
  • The intended start and end dates for this position are 5/15/26 and 9/15/26 respectively
  • The pay rate for this position is $15.50/hr
  • This position is not benefits eligible
  • We are unable to provide Visa sponsorship, now or in the future, for this position.
  • Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position.
