Summary of Job Duties:
The Administrative Analyst is responsible for providing administrative support to the faculty, undergraduate students, and graduate students in the School of Computer and Information Sciences. This position coordinates with various units within the college and the university. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy.
Qualifications:
Required Education and/or Experience:
- The formal education of a high school diploma.
Preferred Education and/or Experience:
- Plus one year of specialized training in business management, business education, or a related field;
- Three years of experience in a specialized or related field applicable to the work performed.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Cost Center Account Management
- Monitor and reconcile WorkDay financial accounts for Program, Grant, and faculty.
- Create purchase requisitions, including tracking order progression from requisition through vendor payment, processing invoices, and receipts for purchase reimbursements.
- Maintain spreadsheets for various Program accounts, Grants, and faculty indirect accounts. As needed, resolve discrepancies, communicate account status, and initiate budget and other expense transfers
Customer Service
- Greet students and visitors;
- Answer telephone/email inquiries, and relay messages.
- Provide information on the school, refer students in need of advising to the appropriate advisor, answer faculty and student questions, including referrals to other UALR offices.
Event Management
- Assist Director with maintaining the school calendar.
- Assist with making catering requests and reserving meeting rooms.
