The Opportunity

As DoiT expands the marketing team to meet the growing demand for our solutions, we're looking for a resourceful, creative, and curious marketing associate to support our mission of building a robust marketing machine in the US.

We are looking for a dynamic and confident self-starter who exhibits a natural curiosity and will bring with them energy and enthusiasm. As well as playing a significant role in the success of our marketing efforts, the successful candidate will thrive in a small team and have the opportunity to see firsthand how a thriving start-up grows and matures. 

 

You will be supporting our marketing team with the day-to-day management of marketing activities to grow our reach, engagement, and importantly supporting our field sales marketing plans.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day activities of the marketing team in the US
• Support managing virtual and in-person events, webinars, and sponsorships
• Support with marketing swag and inventory needs
• Provide project management assistance
• Liaise with agencies, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timelines are met and plans are followed through
• Work closely with the field sales team to check on the progress of marketing activities
• Work closely with partners to provide activity details and progress reports
• Update and add events and marketing collateral to the site.
• Contribute to marketing collateral and review and proofread material for publication
• Contribute to social media channels
• Contribute to, and write progress reports which will be presented to our team and our board
• Support in the creation of promotional materials for events: landing pages, social and email copy, create emails, schedule virtual webinars through meeting platforms, create planning and promo docs, FUP emails, and graphics  
• Attend and assist with virtual or in person events to ensure they run smoothly

Qualifications

• Have completed a University Degree or equivalent work experience
• Must be located and authorized to work in the United States
• Immaculate attention to detail
• Aptitude to work with external vendors to drive programs
• Experience managing projects to completion under rigorous deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven teamwork and collaboration skills
• The ability to adapt and be flexible to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Interest to take on responsibilities, accept challenges, and improve activities to increase efficiency
• Technical experience:
• Using Google Docs, Google Slides & Google Sheets
• Experience with social media management platforms (desirable)
• Possesses high energy, passion, and is an individual driven to succeed
• A natural curiosity around cloud technology and B2B marketing

• Has previous marketing generalist or internship experience
