Responsibilities
Serve as Medical Director for the Yakima NICU. This role comes with a $35,000 annual leadership stipend and provides the chance to guide a vital regional program serving rural families across South Central Washington. The Medical Director will maintain a full complement of core Neonatology clinical duties while also providing administrative and strategic leadership to support the growth and stability of the practice.- Recruitment & team development

About the Practice
MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital (MYMH) is home to a 15-bed Level IIIA NICU serving as the regional perinatal center for Yakima County and several surrounding counties. It is the only Level III NICU within a 70‑mile radius, providing indispensable support to multiple rural and critical access hospitals.
- 2500 deliveries annually
- ADC of about 5 patients
- Currently offering conventional mechanical ventilation and bubble CPAP
- Speech/Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and Physical Therapists provide consultation, neurodevelopmental assessments, and recommendations for developmentally supportive therapies.

- Close knit staff of 3 NEOs and 2 NNPs

- Long-standing referral pathways with major children's hospitals across Washington: Mary Bridge Children's Hospital (Tacoma), Seattle Children's Hospital, and Sacred Heart Children's (Spokane)

- BE/BC in Neonatology
- 3-5 years of experience
Benefits and Compensation
Pay Range (Base Pay): $300,000 - $320,000
Other Types of Pay: $35,000 medical director stipend. Eligible for discretionary practice physician bonus.
Regular full-time is classified as team members who are consistently scheduled and work 30 hours or more on a weekly basis. Regular full-time team members are eligible for the following:
