Preschool Teacher Structure Classroom

Minimum Qualifications: Early Childhood License P-3 WITH... 
                                       Prekindergarten Special Needs Endorsement (196097) OR 
                                       Early Education of the Handicapped (Ages 3-6) (196095)

The Structured Preschool Classroom Teacher is responsible for creating and maintaining a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment for students who have qualified as having a more significant disabilities. Some students may be non-verbal and/or use an AAC for their communication. Experience in using an AAC would be beneficial. The  preschool teacher will implement individualized education plans (IEPs), foster social-emotional development, and provide developmentally appropriate instruction tailored to each child's unique needs. In a structured preschool classroom setting, you may be involved in assisting with toileting, feeding, and mobility as needed. Physical activity such as lifting, kneeling, and participating in active play will be required to support student needs effectively.
