Account Manager

The Account Manager is responsible for managing client expectations, communicating project status information, maintaining strong customer satisfaction ratings, ensuring customer retention, engaging in proactive communication, identifying and pursuing up sell opportunities, and resolving product/business issues experienced by the clients.
Responsibilities
- Provide frequent reports to clients on project metrics, status, achievements, issues/resolutions, etc.
- Provide guidance to customers on the implementation of their PAC, fundraising and grassroots programs.
- Consult with clients regarding best practices for achieving advocacy, compliance, fundraising and communications goals.
- Write user guides, calls to action, or web content for clients.
- Manage the setup and launch of the Aristotle PAC and grassroots software and consulting suite of services.
- Support clients during compliance filings – data review, receipt/disbursement tie outs, data entry corrections, etc.
- Conduct online and in-person trainings for clients. Instruct them on best practices and general use of the PAC and grassroots software to meet their program goals and objectives.
- Possibility of attending in-person events and conferences as a representative of Aristotle and the Professional Services department.
- Pull target lists for client fundraising campaigns.
- Manage whitelisting and email deliverability setup process for client email campaigns.
- Oversee and coordinate with other departments to troubleshoot technical issues that may arise.
- Oversee follow-up with client post-fundraising campaigns and provide summary reports.
- Set up templates for complex and multi-phase fundraising campaigns.
- Manage fundraising campaign reports and client updates.
Requirements
- BA/BS in political science, communications, business, government affairs or related field preferred.
- 2-5 years of relevant work experience.
- Proven track record in customer relationship management.
- Professional and interpersonal skills required to develop and foster positive relationships within the organization and with our clients.
- Project management proficiency.
- Technical proficiency in the areas of web-based applications.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to research issues quickly and thoroughly and develop succinct messaging.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, without a great deal of direct supervision.
- Professional phone, in-person and webinar communication skills with clients and internal team members.
- Proficiency in Microsoft software suite and tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- General knowledge of the legislative process and an interest in politics.
