Production Specialist

JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Production Specialist to join our growing team.

 

Production Specialist Manufacturing Team Members

Shifts – First, Overtime Available

 

Hourly Rates starting from $25.47-27.36

 

Depending on assignment, our team members may do any of the following duties: 

 

• Performs typical machine operations to support the manufacturing division.
• Operates Panel Saw and/or similar high-speed door machining equipment to cut various door preps on the edge and face of architectural wood doors as described on written production tags.
• Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety rules.
• Performs prescribed machine setup, tooling and calibration for making door preps.
• Performs (but not limited to) the following tasks: beveling, cutting, boring chiseling, drilling, sanding and de-burring.
• Is intimately familiar with door hardware templates and their application to precise door preps. 
• Must be familiar with the basic machine functions in order to perform the task stated above.
• Exercises focused mental concentration in the presence of high-speed cutting and milling equipment.

Expected pay for this role is between $25.47 to $27.36 per hour and is based on experience and qualifications.
