We are looking for our next Sr Raw Material Planner for our Winter Haven, FL. location.

 

In accordance with Raw Material Crop Calendar, collect sales forecasts, consolidate data, and confirm purchase plan to ensure smooth materials supply for production and order fulfillment. Coordinate with Global Sourcing, Finish Goods Planner, Production Workshop Leaders, Quality Lab and Customer Service to achieve quality services to customers & efficient inventory management.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Coordinate with Site Operations, Logistics, Production Planning and Citrus Process Specialist to maintain a highly efficient internal supply chain.
• Manage inventory to attain high level of customer service & minimize risk of obsolete & slow-moving stock, analyze reasons & develop solutions.
• Maintain an active network with Global Procurement and Global Sales to manage citrus raw material forecasts. Review and update forecasts considering our customers / affiliates  product demand.
• Process supplier samples through Quality Control and complete approval / rejection process.
• Maintain stock level according to safety stocks and crop seasonality. 
• Maintain updated knowledge of global market conditions
• Be the technical lead supporting procurement of suitable raw materials 
• Maintain an updated citrus network of processors, traders, and manufacturers
• Identify and predict gaps in RM inventory based on forecasting and citrus market trends
• Maintain a current knowledge base of the global citrus industry, the harvesting seasons, methods of processing, and active market conditions
• Evaluate and investigate alternative RM sources, side streams, etc.
   

 

Job Requirements

 

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in the citrus flavor and fragrance industry
• 3-5 years experience in operational planning or a similar role
• Excellent business English communication skills
• Strong Microsoft Office Suite skillset
• Solid problem solving and decision-making 
• Previous manufacturing operations experience, supply chain workflow knowledge
