Job Description

ARHS Group – part of Accenture is looking for a Senior Technical Analyst who can help structure a complex project, for one of its clients in Brussels, a key player in the Belgian health insurance domain.

Context

Today, the client is reaching the limits of its current financial system (Oracle EBS). This jeopardizes continuity (core processes and interaction with their members) and prevents the implementation of new functionalities and audit recommendations.

The project will take the details of the transactions and the customizations outside the financial system (development of a finance hub) and ensure that only centralization items remain in the financial system.

For the realization of this challenging project, a new dynamic and autonomous team is being formed. For this we are looking for an enterprising colleague, full of energy and passion.

Role & responsibilities

• Preparing and developing the epics and stories together with our business experts. The development itself is not your responsibility, as you will use your development experience to deliver quality analyses.
• Analyzing the financial business processes and modelling them in functionalities and technical specifications. Critical in evaluating and remodeling the existing functionalities on EBS.
• Ensuring that the developers can work with your output. 
• When our developers have delivered the stories, you are ready to test and monitor the quality.
• Designing user-friendly screens, based on your thorough understanding of the relational databases and in close consultation with our users.
• In short: you are a driving force in this dynamic scrum team.

Technical skills

• Highly experienced analyst programmer, who can help structure a complex project.
• Thorough knowledge of financial processes or quick thinker who picks up the financial terminology immediately.
• Able to speak the language of both developers and business specialists. Your development background helps you to technically shape the business requirements.
• Extensive experience in analysis methods (UML, BPMN,.. ) and able to elaborate both functional and technical analysis, in order to arrive at clear Jira tickets for the developers.
• Thorough SQL knowledge, knowledge of PLSQL is an added value.
• Experience in designing high-performance user-friendly screens (via Balsamiq). A healthy portion of UX design experience certainly comes in handy here.
• Considering the business requirements in your analyses, but also GDPR compliance, cost-efficiency, scalability, reliability, performance & maintainability.
• Experience with the Agile methodology SCRUM is a necessity. You can help shape epics and stories and understand the added value of scrum. Ability to take on the role of scrum master would be considered an asset.
