The Role at a Glance

We’re seeking a seasoned Delivery Leader to lead complex Life and Annuity IT initiatives. This role blends strategic program oversight with agile delivery leadership, ensuring successful execution across multiple teams in a large-scale IT environment.

What you'll be doing

Program & Project Leadership

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives, including product launches, system integrations, and platform modernization.
  • Manage all phases of the project lifecycle: planning, budgeting, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication.
  • Ensure alignment with Agile and project management standards, maintaining accurate schedules and budgets.
  • Resolve cross-team issues and drive delivery of integrated release scopes.

 

Agile Delivery & Scrum Leadership

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies (PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives).
  • Support backlog grooming and sprint readiness with Product Owners and teams.
  • Remove delivery impediments and foster continuous improvement through feedback loops.
  • Champion Agile best practices across distributed teams.

 

Strategic Influence & Process Improvement

  • Drive process enhancements and change initiatives to improve delivery efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align on priorities, timelines, and outcomes.
  • Mentor team members and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

What we’re looking for

Must-haves:

  • 7+ years in project/program management, with 3+ years in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

 

Nice-to-haves:

  • Strong understanding of Life and Annuity ecosystems and SaaS transformation.
  • Proven experience in Life and Annuity IT, including platform modernization (e.g., Vantage, FAST).
  • Proficiency with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins, GitHub, MS Project, and Microsoft 365.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and SAFe certifications preferred.
  • Experience leveraging AI for delivery and quality engineering improvements.
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to influence across levels and drive consensus in complex environments.
  • Skilled at balancing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to synthesize complex data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making capabilities.

The pay range for this position is $93,300 - $169,700 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law.
