Overview
Seeking an experienced and motivated Data Platforms & Services Leader with a strong background in data platforms and analytics. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving high velocity data platforms, and has competencies in technical, strategic, and interpersonal skills. As a Data Platforms & Services Leader Systems Leader, you will lead a team of skilled professionals, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, secure, and performant data platforms and analytics.
Primary Responsibilities
- Execute the shared vision for the data platform and Data & Analytics CoE
- Work closely with multiple digital/analytics use-case development teams and business stakeholders (Data & Analytics CoE, Digital, Commercial, and business and functional) to deliver business outcomes
- Lead the technical design of an enterprise data platform to support the global organization; develop and maintain the data layer
- Implement new data collection process (e.g., purchase of new data sets) and develop new ingestion processes
- Manage / execute data integrations and access to data
- Modernize systems and identify obsolete applications to reduce tech debt
- Manage and improve the overall platform by creating self-service capabilities
- Build, grow and nurture the engineering product teams in technical direction, culture and effective ways of working including Agile/DevOps/DataOps practices
- Measure solutions propagation and adherence of best practices, apprenticeship and employee satisfaction
- Interpret technology and market trends to evolve and define the digital and data platform roadmap

- Assist all relevant stakeholders in accessing data to unlock/enable digital use cases
Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years of leadership experience influencing senior level stakeholders and service partners
- Proficient understanding of vendor management and delivering services effectively and efficiently through third parties
- Experience with BI tools (e.g. MS Power BI, Tableau etc), data streaming, warehousing, and persistence technologies
- Experience with cloud and PaaS, AWS preferred
- 10-15+ years of experience related to data and analytics platform and use case design, build and support
- Proven track record of leading and mentoring multi-disciplinary engineering teams to production level delivery software within the context of complex organizations
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills
- Strong communication skills, catering to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with data analytics and sharing platforms such as AWS Redshift, Informatica Power Center, Hadoop S3, P360, C360
