The Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry in the College of Arts and Sciences at The Ohio State University seeks to fill a tenure-track faculty position at the assistant professor level in any area of Inorganic chemistry. The new faculty member will join a highly innovative, interdisciplinary community on the main campus in Columbus, Ohio. Our outstanding facilities, including state-of-the-art NMR spectroscopy (up to 1.2 GHz), mass spectrometry, X-ray crystallography, cryo-electron microscopy, and a supercomputing center, as well as top materials science, engineering, biology, and medicinal colleagues, offer numerous opportunities for collaboration and advancement of research programs.

- Contribute to service within the department and the university
Education and Experience Requirements
Required qualifications: A Ph.D. in Chemistry or a related field is required at the time of appointment. The position will begin in Autumn 2026. Demonstrated potential excellence in highly innovative research and a strong commitment to teaching and mentoring are essential. Outstanding applicants in all areas of inorganic chemistry will be considered.
Desired qualifications: Postdoctoral experience is highly desirable.
