Test Analyst - API Automation

We are seeking a highly skilled API Test Automation Engineer with a strong programming background in Java and TestNG. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in manual and automated API testing, CI/CD pipelines, database validation, and performance testing. This role demands strong analytical thinking, excellent documentation, and communication skills, along with a solid understanding of cloud technologies and microservices architecture.

Your role

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for API testing.
• Perform manual API testing and validate responses against expected outcomes.
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Conduct database validations and performance testing.
• Document test cases, results, and defects clearly and concisely.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to test strategy and planning.

Your skills and experience

• API Test Automation using Java and TestNG.
• Manual API Testing experience with tools like Bruno and Postman.
• Proficient in GIT and CI/CD workflows.
• Strong Database Testing capabilities including writing and validating complex SQL queries.
• Exposure to Performance Testing methodologies.
• Experience with Unix scripting, Oracle, or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with Microservices Testing.
• Experience with GitHub and AWS.
• Strong Analytical, Documentation, and Communication Skills.
• Understanding of Cloud Technologies and ELK Stack.
