We are seeking a highly skilled API Test Automation Engineer with a strong programming background in Java and TestNG. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in manual and automated API testing, CI/CD pipelines, database validation, and performance testing. This role demands strong analytical thinking, excellent documentation, and communication skills, along with a solid understanding of cloud technologies and microservices architecture.
Your role
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for API testing.
- Perform manual API testing and validate responses against expected outcomes.
- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Conduct database validations and performance testing.
- Document test cases, results, and defects clearly and concisely.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to test strategy and planning.
Your skills and experience
- API Test Automation using Java and TestNG.
- Manual API Testing experience with tools like Bruno and Postman.
- Proficient in GIT and CI/CD workflows.
- Strong Database Testing capabilities including writing and validating complex SQL queries.
- Exposure to Performance Testing methodologies.
- Experience with Unix scripting, Oracle, or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with Microservices Testing.
- Experience with GitHub and AWS.
- Strong Analytical, Documentation, and Communication Skills.
- Understanding of Cloud Technologies and ELK Stack.
