HR Business Partner

We're Hiring: Human Resources Business Partner – Waukesha, WI

 

Carlisle Construction Materials (CCM), a leading manufacturer of premium building products and related technologies, is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to support operations and production at our Metal-Era facility in Waukesha, WI. This role is part of the Carlisle Architectural Metals (CAM) business unit and provides daily HR support to a team of approximately 150 employees across three shifts.

What You’ll Do:

• Serve as the on-site HR point of contact, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures to employees and managers.

• Partner with Talent Acquisition to manage recruiting, job postings, and temporary staffing.

• Coordinate open enrollment, payroll support, hiring, terminations, and leaves of absence.

• Lead and support employee relations initiatives and foster a culture of open communication.

• Administer worker’s compensation and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.

• Support training activities including onboarding, safety, and compliance programs.

• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in line with regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate across departments to continuously improve HR processes and employee experience.

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.

• 5–8 years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

• Strong working knowledge of employment laws (EEO, FMLA, OSHA, etc.).

• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and support a multi-shift operation.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to quickly learn specialized HR software.

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Work Environment & Schedule:

• Based at our Waukesha, WI facility (on-site).

• Standard schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with occasional flexibility to support all shifts.

• Occasional travel may be required with advance notice.

• Office-based with occasional exposure to the production floor.
