Description

SUMMARY

We are seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate Nutritionist to join our team. The Nutritionist will provide evidence-based nutritional guidance to help our patients achieve optimal health. The successful candidate will assess individual dietary needs, develop personalized nutrition plans, and educate patients on healthy eating habits. This role requires a deep understanding of nutrition science and a strong commitment to promoting overall well-being

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for clients, including evaluating dietary habits, medical history, and lifestyle factors.
  • Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans based on clients' health goals, dietary preferences, and nutritional needs.
  • Educate clients on nutrition principles, healthy eating habits, and lifestyle changes to support their health objectives.
  • Monitor and evaluate clients' progress, adjusting nutrition plans as necessary to ensure effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, such as doctors, nurses, and therapists, to coordinate client care.
  • Provide support and motivation to clients, helping them overcome barriers to healthy eating and lifestyle changes.
  • Stay current with the latest research and developments in nutrition science and dietary guidelines.
  • Participate in community outreach and educational programs to promote nutrition awareness.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with all regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential preferred.
  • Minimum of [X] years of experience in nutrition counseling or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of nutrition science, dietary guidelines, and medical nutrition therapy.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to develop rapport and build trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.

  • Bilingual skills (English/Spanish or other languages) are a plus.
