Our strength in healthcare innovation empowers us to build a world where complex diseases are prevented, treated, and cured, where treatments are smarter and less invasive, and solutions are <span>personal. Through</span> our expertise in Innovative Medicine and MedTech, we are uniquely positioned to innovate across the full spectrum of healthcare solutions today to deliver the breakthroughs of tomorrow, and profoundly impact health for humanity.</p><p>Learn more at <a href="https://www.jnj.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><span>https://www.jnj.com/</span></a></p><p></p><p>J&amp;J is recruiting for a <span><b>Senior Manager Engineering &amp; Construction projects </b></span>reporting to the <span>Sr Director, Project Management EMEA</span> and to be based in Leiden, Netherlands.</p><p></p><p><span>The <b>Senior Manager Engineering &amp; Construction projects </b>is accountable for the performance of assigned larger and more complex projects in region, leading thru Flawless Project Execution, the oversight and flexible application of scalable best practice Project Delivery Processes required thru the ideation, definition, execution and assessment phases; including, but not limited to driving innovation to ensure safety and appropriate quality, reducing cost and schedule, utilizing learning adoption internally and externally, overseeing commissioning, qualification and validation of FDA and other agency regulated facilities, technology transfer and regulations governing product manufacturing.</span></p><p></p><p><span>This role is responsible for managing a $ 10M-15MM/Year of a portfolio of facilities projects below $10M value each and support a portfolio of $30M/year of Site strategic projects for the facility scope, ensuring projects progress throughout the project leading the expedition of key activities across function, finding solutions to key problems, and communicating project progress, issues and solutions to management and to the project team.</span></p><p></p><p><span>An ideal candidate for this role will have good experience of leading all aspects of Project Management end to end in medium to high complexity capital projects. They will also have experience and knowledge of process engineering and product in pharma, consumer or medical devices.</span></p><p><span>Key relationships include collaboration of with E&amp;PS Functions (Real Estate and FM and Service Partners) CCFS, EHS, ITS and affiliate Engineering Groups (GET) across other functional areas, establishing effective working relationships with partners and key stakeholders in the business.</span></p><p></p><p><span><span><b><span>Key Responsibilities</span></b></span></span></p><p><span>Accountable to deliver a portfolio of small/medium (below $10M) facility projects for the Leiden Campus of an annual cash-flow value of $ 10M-15M/year using a group of external PMs and engineering partners. Support/co-lead Site strategic projects that have a facility component taking Project Leadership or co-leadership on Projects at appropriate stages of Ideation, Design, Execution and Assessment</span></p><ul><li><p><span>Builds collaboration across other functional areas with Business Partners</span></p></li><li><p><span>Builds alignment with Sponsor, and shares management of Key Stakeholders, aligns Core and Extended team to deliver the Final Project Objectives</span></p></li><li><p><span>Builds communication wi
