Administrative Assistant

Description

An individual employed to assist in the activities of the administrator, staff, volunteers, patients and families of Home Health. This involves the performance of a variety of clerical and operational support duties as assigned.

Essential Job Functions

• Maintains and actively promotes effective communication with all individuals.
• Maintains a positive image of the entity in the community keeping in alignment with our mission, vision, and values.
• Responsible for on-call services, as assigned.
• Maintains records associated with Home Health: medical equipment and supplies, pharmaceuticals, levels of service, and coordinates with the appropriate vendor or billing personnel when needed. 
• Assists with the referral/ admission/ discharge process flows as it relates to medical records, care and services.   
• Maintain and support office operations including office supplies and forms, admission packets, forms, and computer/ technology support.  
• Performs other similar duties, as needed. 

Job Type: Full-time

Physical Setting: In Office

Work Location: Waukesha, WI

Salary: $18-20 per hour

Experience and Training

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Education in office administration preferred.
• One year of experience in a related field preferred.
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft suite of platforms.
