Why this role is exciting:
Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will play a critical role in delivering the People plan for the Americas. You will be in charge of converting global plans into local actions or projects and leading a team to manage all aspects of the employee life-cycle in North America. You will also work closely with the Senior Management team and local leaders in providing pragmatic and employee-focused support. Our People Excellence team is located in six countries and we are highly collaborative. As an integral member of our team, you will help in the continuing evolution of the team, introducing new ideas, benefits, and ways of working. You will also act as a driving force in ensuring our North America workplaces are diverse, equitable, and inclusive, participating in global and regional DEI initiatives and acting as a role model to create a culture of belonging for all employees.
What you will be doing:
TALENT MANAGEMENT:
- Ensure we have the right organizational structure in place to support our growth plans & business model
- With leadership, ensure we have the right people at the right place at the right time to achieve our goals
- Coach and advise leadership on performance management conversations and documentation.
- Employee relations: Recommend appropriate action to maintain a healthy and productive work environment.
- Manage employee offboarding and exit process
- Draw conclusions and recommendations based on trends of HR Analytics
TALENT DEVELOPMENT:
- Build relationships with the employee population to maintain a pulse on the business and provide recommendations for continued development
- Focus on developing talent internally fostering promotions & stretch assignments
- In collaboration with the People Development COE, assist with facilitation of training, both general and specific development needs
- Continuously review the organizational structure to ensure the business operates efficiently, effectively and has the right competencies in the organization
- Oversee onboarding process for new employees ensuring the best new employee experience
- Lead all performance reviews, feedback discussions & development opportunities to ensure our teams are cared for & invested in
HR OPERATIONS & PROJECT MANAGEMENT:
- Proactively and strategically make recommendations related to processes, programs, etc.
- Assist in the development and administration of all other projects, programs, procedures and guidelines aimed at aligning the workforce with strategic goals of the department and company
- Partner with Office Managers on employee-focused initiatives regarding activities, events, and day-to-day projects
- Participate, ideate and coordinate employee engagement events and in-house programs
