The Yale School of Nursing (www.nursing.yale.edu) invites applications from (and nominations of) highly qualified candidates for a Research, Traditional Track (Full Professor) tenure-eligible faculty position specializing in mental health and psychiatric nursing research. We seek a senior-level, Ph.D.-prepared faculty member with demonstrated academic experience, a robust program of research, excellent communication skills, and a steadfast commitment to advancing better health for all people through quality advanced practice and doctoral-level nursing education. The successful candidate will be a researcher and thought leader integral to teaching, service, and research activities at the Yale School of Nursing.
Principle Responsibilities:
- Lead research, teaching, and service initiatives at the forefront of mental health and psychiatric nursing.
- Conduct groundbreaking scholarly work that advances knowledge in the field and impacts the global academic community.
- Cultivate an environment of excellence in mental health nursing education at advanced practice and doctoral levels.
- Collaborate with colleagues to drive forward the tripartite mission of education, practice, and research within the School of Nursing and throughout Yale University.

Qualifications
Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:
- PhD in Nursing or related field, with a distinguished academic career.
- Recognized national and global leadership in mental health and psychiatric nursing research.
- Eligible for a Tenured Full Professor rank at the YSN (https://provost.yale.edu/faculty-handbook)
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to inspire students, colleagues, and external partners.
