What You Will Do:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced professional to join our lifecycle team to support energy, sustainability, and infrastructure work with our commercial and public sector clients. This person will support the management of our large programs, working with the project team to plan and deliver large programs.
We partner with our clients to design and deliver transformational programs, evaluate, and optimize program contributions towards climate, energy, and other goals, and continuously improve the program experience for customers.
As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating projects and workstreams, contributing to project planning, preparing, and maintaining documentation, reviewing contracts and financials, monitoring project activities, and evaluating the overall project performance. In addition, you will work with client stakeholders to assess project performance, identify, and manage risks and issues, keeping clients informed and proactively managing expectations.

Responsibilities:
- Contributing to project planning, budgeting, and overall strategy
- Establishing key performance indicators
- Monitoring and evaluating the overall project
- Analyzing project data and producing insights to optimize performance
- Identifying problems and shortfalls and proposing solutions
- Providing operational support such as liaising with stakeholders, tracking timelines, etc.
- Preparing, reviewing, and maintaining project documentation and reports
- Maintaining project contracts and financials
- Support the development and rollout of our project management methodology, being a coach and change agent to encourage adoption
What You Will Need:
- Due to nature of client engagements, US Citizenship restrictions will apply
- Bachelors degree
- 3-6 years’ experience with project management and operations with Power Utilities or Federal Civilian Agencies (excluding internships, co-ops, fellowships, and graduate research)
- Experience with stakeholder and financial management
- Knowledgeable in all phases of the project management life cycle
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with data analytics in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to assume ownership of significant portions of tasks while collaborating with a close-knit team
- Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously, prioritize and plan work activities while meeting respective deadlines
- Demonstrated attention to detail
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- An inquisitive nature and desire for continuous improvement
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel as needed (~5% travel annually pending COVID safety)
- Currently reside in the contiguous United States. Candidates within 50 miles of a Guidehouse office may be required to work a hybrid work schedule instead of 100% remote
- Staff level of hire will be determined by Guidehouse interviewing process
- The successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
- Management consulting experience within a Project/Program Management Office
- Organization design and transformation
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint
- PMP Certification
- Experience developing and delivering presentations to clients or executive audiences
- Excellent at visualizing data, synthesizing insights, and storytelling with data

The annual salary range for this position is $70,800.00-$141,500.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, securiApply for this role
