Pediatric Critical Care Advanced Practice Practitioner

Join a high-performing Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) team at Advocate Children’s Hospital in Park Ridge, IL, providing advanced, collaborative critical care to pediatric patients in a dynamic, academic-style environment.
Schedule & Coverage
- 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Flexible staffing designed to support patient acuity and team collaboration
Care Model
- Day Shift: Two-team model
- Team 1: Attending Physician + 2 Residents
- Team 2: Attending Physician + 1 Advanced Practice Practitioner (APP) / PICU Hospitalist
- Night Shift:
- Either: 1 Attending + 2 Residents (+ Fellow 2 nights/week)
- Or: 1 Attending + 1 Resident + 1 APP / PICU Hospitalist
