Responsibilities:

GENERAL PURPOSE
The Electrical & Computer Engineering department is seeking an undergraduate student research assistant to assist with the design and testing of large-scale photonic integrated circuits.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Module-level testing in photonic integrated circuits (PICs)
  • Device/circuit design n photonic integrated circuits (PICs)
  • Die-level testing in photonic integrated circuits (PICs)
  • Wafer-level testing n photonic integrated circuits (PICs)

Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree, REQUIRED.
  • or equivalent combination of education and experience


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Familiar with photonic integrated circuits (PICs)
  • And in PIC testing, modeling, and design REQUIRED.
