Modern Box Shop Laborer

Description

The Shop Laborer is responsible for running each machine to its full capabilities and to keep up with the schedule while maintaining quality work and a safe working environment. 

• Set up machines and run programs to complete tasks.
• Use appropriate software to locate files and tool locations.
• Prepare and load raw materials onto the machines.
• Inspect finished product to ensure that specifications are met.
• Abide by all safety, quality, personnel, and other policies as applicable.
• Assemble cabinets and drawer boxes.
• Package and load cabinets and all finished material.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED
• Experience: None Required
• License or Certification: None

Physical Demands:

• Be able to lift 30-75 
• Perform repetitive tasks
• Long periods of standing at a time

Knowledge and Skills:

• Basic Computer Skills Required
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Forklift: 1 Year Preferred
• Cabinetry experience is a plus
