Job Description

As a valued colleague on our team, you will collaborate with the team and leadership to aid the loan acquisition business. The candidate will analyze the loan origination landscape, best execution patterns, and the financial markets to provide verbal and written analysis to assist the team in setting credit pricing and overall strategy.

The Capital Markets - Pricing and Sales Desk - Senior Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

• Review activities related to pricing strategy associated with loan acquisitions, security performance, and market trends to provide feedback to management and the team
• Partner with various members of the Pricing & Sales Desk and other teams to make strategic improvements managing the business
• Monitor financial markets and initiate trades/transactions to facilitate lender liquidity according to the team strategy
• Develop and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders through active engagement and inspiring work

Qualifications

THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Minimum Required Experiences

• 2 years' of relevant experience in: 
  • Mortgage Banking / Secondary Marketing / Fixed Income Transactions or Portfolio Management / Financial Markets Analytics

Desired Experiences

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Experience in the MBS market or loan origination market with a focus on mortgage securitization
• Ability to independently gather accurate information to explain market trends and be able to clearly present findings to the team.
  • Proficiency in Tableau or SQL
• Adept at managing competing priorities, project plans and resources to ensure successful project completion
• Relationship Management skills including managing and engaging stakeholders, lenders, and vendors etc.
• Comprehension of mortgage banker pipeline management, including pricing/best execution, MBS trading/transacting, pooling, and delivery
• Understanding of the business’s upstream and downstream impacts to lenders, investors and the overall mortgage market
