Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack

The Opportunity

  We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to help us build out our entire pipeline of backend and frontend applications. This role works with every aspect of what we do - a perfect place for someone who wants a role with massive ownership and the most amount of impact possible.  

What You'll Do:

• Build scalable and reliable back-end systems that support our entire operation.
• Work with other engineers to design highly scalable, fault tolerant systems.
• Contribute to product, design, engineering and architecture for all of our technology solutions.
• Work with the product, operations, behavioral health and marketing teams to influence and shape our product strategy and roadmap.
• Help build and contribute to a high-performance engineering culture.

What You Have:

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience working on external facing applications.
• Passion for working in a rapidly growing business with curiosity, humility, humor, and professionalism.
• Demonstrable working knowledge of highly scalable and fault tolerant client/server architecture.
• Experience working cross-functionally with other engineers, product managers, and designers.
• Experience in API development (RESTful, GraphQL).
• Experience building and scalable and fault tolerant server/back-end architecture.
• Experience working with a modern frontend framework (React, Angular, Vue).
• A team oriented personality, bias to action, excellent communication skills.
• A strong work ethic and the desire to work at an early stage startup.
• A desire to improve yourself and be a positive influence on those around you.
• An instinctive desire to write quality code, the humility to understand and improve existing code, and the judgment to make tradeoffs between elegance and efficiency.
