About the Role:
We are looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst within the Corporate FP&A function at Camunda, assisting with Business Partnership, Forecasting and Reporting. You’ll be part of a global Finance team reporting directly to the Manager, Corporate FP&A, and play a key role in providing insights that shape decision-making across the company.
What You Will Do:
Planning and Financial Analysis:
Participate in annual planning, long-term planning, rolling forecast and monthly/quarterly variance analysis
Build driver-based models to forecast operating expenses and headcount, providing actionable insights to leadership
Business Partnership:
Partner with FP&A Managers and Department leaders on business strategy, spending initiatives, and investment trade-offs
Provide ad hoc analysis to support decision-making around hiring, vendor spend, and other functional priorities
Data Analysis:
Produce KPI reporting and root cause trends in financial and operational metrics
Deliver executive-ready analysis and commentary for variance reviews, Key Reviews, and board-level materials
Communication & Influence:
Create high-quality reporting packages for FP&A Management, functional leaders, and executive stakeholders
Distill complex data into clear insights and recommendations for non-financial audiences
Must-Haves:
2+ years with demonstrated senior-level experience in FP&A, Accounting, Investment Banking
Strong Google Sheets and/or Excel skillset and ability to work with large data sets
Experience supporting forecast/budget cycles and preparing leadership-level financial reporting
Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of projects, working in iterations.
Understanding of FP&A technology systems, including Netsuite, Workday, Adaptive, and other FP&A related software (AI Systems)
Nice-to-Haves:
Experience at a SaaS or subscription-based company, with working knowledge of metrics like ARR, NRR/GRR, CAC, and churn
Experience preparing board or investor-level reporting packages
Hands-on use of AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, etc.) integrated into finance workflows — not just familiarity
