Responsible for a variety of functions within the distribution center, such as receiving, stocking, loading and unloading merchandise, picking and operating heavy-duty equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts.

• The Production Operator is responsible for processing orders from picking to shipping.
• Able to pull the correct components for production line orders.
• Able to locate, count, sort, pack, and consolidate finished product onto pallets for shipment. Use of RF scanners is available.
• Keep an accurate track of inventory maintenance.
• Complete inventory counts regularly.
• Reconcile inventory counts to ensure accuracy.
• Able to print labels needed to package components into the finished product.
• Able to stand for long periods at a time (2hr increments) to assemble/process and package components into correct packaging for each customer.
• Able to properly verify each finished pallet before shipment.
• Must be able to operate power equipment (Reach lift experience required).
• Basic written/math/computer skills are a must (will be working with computer/printer/handheld scanner).
• Able to lift up to 50lbs (unassisted) on a consistent basis.
• Assist with inventory audits and other job-related tasks

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (any specific physical attributes or limiting factors to be accounted for):        

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will spend a large majority of time walking, standing, and using hands to push/pull. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee is required to lift and /or move up to 20 to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee may be exposed to hot or cold temperatures, outside weather conditions, and the risk of electrical shock. The employee may be exposed to high, precarious places; fumes, or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
