Physical Therapist: Full Time, IP OMC

Atlantic Health System is searching for a dynamic individual to join the inpatient Rehabilitation Team as a full time Physical Therapist at Overlook Medical Center. The candidate will be responsible for providing a broad range of physical therapy services in an interdisciplinary setting, including assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions in accordance with the position's qualifications, professional practices, and ethical standards. The candidate will ensure and provide development, quality improvement, problem-solving, and productivity enhancement in a flexible interdisciplinary manner.


Principal Accountabilities:


1. Performs initial examinations and differential diagnosis.
2. Provides and prescribes plans of care consisting of corrective therapeutic exercise.
3. Performs manual treatments consisting of soft tissue techniques, joint mobilizations, and many more.
4. Supervises and interacts with support staff and maintain proper documentation.
5. Evaluates and establishes a plan of care and treats patients accordingly.
6. Documents patient care and charges appropriately, and documents the course of patient care, including progress made and the ongoing need for treatment.
7. Works with other professionals in an effective manner
8. Provides clinically appropriate therapeutic interventions.
9. Evaluates patient response to treatment and provides feedback to the interdisciplinary team.
10. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required:

1. Graduate of an accredited college or university with a Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy. New Grads are welcome to apply.

2. NJ Physical Therapy License

3. Acute Care experience is preferred but not required.

4. BLS certification, required

Special notes about the position: Weekend and Holiday coverage is expected, and some evenings may be needed; depending on area of acute setting working in.
