About the role

Position: Infrastructure Automation Engineer

Location: Remote, preferably in Pittsburgh or New Jersey

Salary: $130,000 to $145,000 per annum + bonus

Automation

Build Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using: Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, CloudFormation
Automate provisioning of: Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Storage, Firewalls, Load Balancers, DNS, DHCP, Certificates
Develop reusable automation modules and templates
Skilled and experience in Python, PowerShell, Bash
Experience in Ansible
Experience Developing and deploying pipelines using Azure DevOps GitHub Actions Jenkins
Experience Developing AI led automation and tools – Code agents, API, MCP,

Security & Compliance

Understand Zero Trust architecture.
Manage identity and access using Azure AD/Entra ID and Active Directory.
Enforce security baselines and hardening.
Understand and experience with security patching and vulnerability management
Experience industry compliance and security requirements, SOC1/2, SOX, HIPAA, HiTrust, PCI DSS, ISO27001

Hybrid Infrastructure Management

Design, deploy, and manage hybrid infrastructure across: Azure, AWS, VMware vSphere, Windows Server
Ensure high availability and scalability.
Perform capacity planning and lifecycle management.
Support disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives.

Qualification and Experience:

5+ years of experience in AWS and Azure cloud
5+ years Managing VMWare & Datacenter Hardware Environments
Strong experience in Python, Terraform, Ansible and Powershell scripting
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team
Demonstrate strong commitment to process and controls
Experience managing financial budgets
BS in Computer Science, or equivalent
