Software Engineering Intern

This individual will work closely with a senior software engineer to understand requirements and work on feature development. He/she will also work with other developers, participate in design discussions, and work collaboratively in overcome any obstacles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web-based platforms from start to finish. 
• Validating requirements. 
• Development of complex SQL queries. 
• Support solution designs. 
• Support build and deployments. 
• Unit testing to ensure proper code coverage. 

Qualifications

• B.A. / B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent education/experience. 
• Java i18n or .NET with C# 
• Web Services / SOA, XML, XSL, REST, SOAP 
• JAX-RS, JSON 
• SQL Server / MySQL / MongoDB 
• HTML5 / CSS3 / JSON 
• AWS or Azure 
• Familiarity with modern web application technologies & frameworks. 
• Must be a self-starter who is highly organized, hands-on, and a team player. 
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced, startup environment. 
• Detail oriented, with strong written and verbal communication.
