As our new Group Accounting Manager, you will become a vital part of a dedicated and highly skilled team focused on IFRS accounting and global reporting matters. This position offers you the opportunity to leverage your expertise in local reporting and group accounting. You will be actively involved in the reporting of group numbers, allowing you to further enhance your knowledge and skills in group reporting. Additionally, you will be responsible for the local statutory reporting of over 20 Danish entities, backed by a skilled team. The role is based at Arla Foods’ headquarter in Aarhus, Denmark.
How you will make an impact
With a strong expertise within the Danish Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (DK GAAP, ÅRL) and International Finance Reporting Standards (IFRS), you will play a key role as financial advisor and guide the business within broad finance matters and as a result engage in both internal and external reporting on entity- and group level. As a natural part of your work, you will also work with continuously streamlining the reporting processes.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Engage in month-end closing, controlling and reporting processes
- Take subject-matter expert roles in controlling and reporting of group numbers
- Drive the end-to-end process of local statutory reporting of the Danish subsidiaries of Arla Foods amba in accordance to DK GAAP (ÅRL)
- Offer clear accounting guidance to the wider business by explaining IFRS/ÅRL in a way that internal stakeholders can easily understand
- Manage various projects for continuously development and improvement of accounting and financial processes in Arla

Moreover, we imagine that you:
- Hold a relevant MSc degree within Finance and/or Economics
- Have approx. 4-5 years working experience with accounting, likely as an auditor from an external audit consultancy or from a similar role from another industry
- Have experience with a broad range of financial activities at group level and are well-experienced within DK GAAP and familiar with IFRS
