The opportunity

The position is responsible for the evaluation of market conditions, identification of issues and opportunities within the therapeutic category to develop medical education materials which target Health Care Providers (HCPs). The ideal candidate will collect and analyze data from stakeholders to determine best practices for educational programs and tactical implementation. The Senior Manager works with internal Teva colleagues, sales coworkers, key opinion leaders (external experts), and agency partners to develop and increase brand and disease state awareness.

How you’ll spend your day

• Leads and execute segments of brand promotion on Healthcare Provider (HCP) medical education tactics to drive brand/portfolio performance including:
  • Speaker bureau management: speaker program content development, training and execution
  • Key Opinion leader (KOL) brand engagement lead
  • Advisory board planning and execution
• Responsible for development of content and execution of congress product theaters.
• Implements strategic and operational brand plans for our Healthcare Provider (HCP) space.
• Plans and develops tactics aligned with predefined strategies and establishes timelines and budgets with moderate oversight.
• Works with multiple agency partners to create, develop and implement tactical plans and provides input on strategy and direction of the brand.
• Collaborates regularly with internal stakeholders to complete responsibilities.
• Manages specific budgets to achieve defined key performance metrics.      
• Analyzes market data and information and makes informed decisions.

Your experience and qualifications

Education/Certification/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
• A minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical experience with a minimum of 2 years marketing experience or equivalent

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

• Strong pharmaceutical industry and therapeutic area business acumen.  
• Able to draw insights from variety of sources, understands market and competition. Compiles relevant data from appropriate sources and performs analysis for the department. Synthesizes complex and diverse information, recognizes trends and/or interrelationship.
• Ability to meet objectives and deadlines, promote efficiency and effectiveness, and incorporate improvements and program return on investment (ROI). 
• Project management experience and the ability to manage and coordinated projects with multiple internal stakeholders and vendors.
• Excellent verbal, written, organization and interpersonal skills required. 
• Versed in MS Office tools including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook. 

 

Travel Requirements:
Approximately 30% domestic travel throughout the US.
