Job Summary:
Reporting to the Senior Director, Archives, the Digital Archivist leads initiatives to preserve, categorize, and facilitate access to both digitized and born-digital archival assets within The Coca-Cola Company Archives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain a digital archives preservation program to ensure future accessibility, including digital forensics, file maintenance, and file storage solutions.
- Engage with stakeholders to establish and expand policies tailored to born-digital archival materials, including selection, scope, security, access, use, and emergency preparedness.
- Collaborate with internal teams on digital asset selection and preservation.
- Manage and prioritize the processing of the digital asset backlog to ensure efficient workflow.
- Develop and maintain taxonomy and metadata schema to enhance organization and retrieval of assets.
- Conduct content audits to identify and address issues, reporting errors or problems to relevant department staff and system vendors.
- Provide training and ongoing user support for content management system and DAM tools, ensuring smooth operations and user satisfaction.
- Respond promptly and accurately to complex research and asset inquiries.
- Interact with a diverse range of stakeholders, including associates, bottlers, agencies, partners, and researchers, demonstrating sensitivity, discretion and professionalism.
- Monitor and analyze metrics to quantify system usage and audience demographics, informing strategic decisions and optimizations.
- Stay informed about evolving trends, emerging technologies, professional standards, and best practices.
- Fulfill any additional duties as required, including supervision of interns.
Skills and Experience:
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Library Science, Archival Studies, or related field, DAS certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in archive/library/museum collections and digital asset management, preferably in corporate archives.
- Familiarity with the unique risks and considerations involved in working with closed, private archival collections.
- Experience with data migration projects and legacy system decommissioning.
- Proven ability to adapt to changing environments, manage competing priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, with a track record of independently prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Familiarity with copyright and intellectual property rights related to digital assets.
- Experience in project management and familiarity with Qi and Preservica desirable.

Pay Range:
$106,100 - $123,900Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
